Good news gaming nerds. We have installed yet another tool to help bring you the best in support. Since I have a job and I can't be in my server all day, I have set up a discord bot where I can monitor in-game chat via discord. Since I always have my phone on me, that means I always have an avenue to help if needed. Even if that help is me saying "hang tight brother...I'll fix you up as soon as I get home"; you will at least have a response and know that you're being taken care of. More good things to come. I have spent all last week and this week testing, cussing, digging, learning, cussing, discovering, and cussing. I am now very familiar with how the new game settings and features work. I am now able to set the framework for developing our custom universe. We can create custom territories that will house our server supporters dwellings. We can create custom stars(galaxies) with custom names We can create custom planets (no custom names) We can design the layout of the universe with regards to locations of territories and stars. I will be focusing on a clean inner environment that is easy to navigate, and leave the outer sectors loaded with thousands of random galaxies for exploration. I finished most of the testing last night. I have a couple more things to test out, then I will begin actually building the server structure and writing the code. I also have the ability to integrate my custom scripts of the past and commands as well as new ideas and scripts for improved admin functionalities. This was a huge boost when I got this working again. So happy. Domain purchased. 2 years Web host purchased. 2 years Website up and functional. (adding new features each day) Discord up and functional. (still needs tailored...I'm discord dumb) Server Support program laid out and live online. All systems are a go. Our physical server should be ready this weekend, as it is getting its final tweaks. I will be spamming an official launch date once I lay the foundation of the universe and the physical machine is ready. Good things to come. Stay tuned.
